Our Mission
To draw out
the natural beauty in women
by inspiring each other
towards kindness.
We Are Sparkling!
Bonnie Soong - Founder
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, Bonnie's master's thesis was on loving one's neighbor in the very small acts (hold the door open for someone, etc.). We call this the virtue of affability. These little acts can brighten someone's day.
In her free time she now pursues this great adventure of promoting our feminine contribution to the world - kindness is beauty.
Affability rocks!
It equally important to mention that although A Sparkling Life is intended for a female audience, men are just as wonderful. Men and women, everyone, deserve lots of love and respect. A Sparkling Life blog highlights kind acts by anyone and everyone.
She hopes ladies of any age will feel more freedom to be themselves, to pursue any road in their lives - the big career/the mediocre career/no career, motherhood/singlehood, marry rich/marry poor/don't marry, etc.
It's not what we do.
It's how we do it
- with kindness.

in addition...
This website is dedicated to my wonderful parents, Billy and Irene Soong, who provided everything I needed - not necessarily everything I wanted - but everything a girl could possibly need (and especially tons of love) growing up in America.
I am forever grateful.
and finally...
I thank the Lord for such an incredible life and all the gifts (and curses!) I've received to arrive where I am today.
