Dear Friends,
It is over two years later now as I revisit this website and am poignantly reflecting what a sad coincidence this is - that once again our nation faces a terrible tragedy with this Corona virus situation. While many outlets seem to find satisfaction in scaring the living daylights out of us, we may find peace within. In my faith, I have seen a wonderful blossoming of remote services, prayer groups, prayer chains, reawakened friendships, and a sense of being grounded again in what is most important. We are literally staying still, moving slower, running around less, and we are focused more on our families, friends, and the very basic things. I would not have wished this circumstance on any people, but here we are, and we have found a silver lining.
My confidence has leaped in certain leaders, and I am finding the unhappy truth about others.
At this uncertain time I would like to wish you peace and health, freedom from worry in hopes that our leaders provide for our livelihoods, and renewed joy in discovering those very simple moments that truly are the most important times in our lives.
* * Hugs to Everyone * *
A Note from Bonnie (in 2017):
In preparing to launch A Sparkling Life over the last two weeks, I have been moved to tears so many times reading about the heroic kindness of the people all around this great country who are helping the victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
I remembered the song "Yellow Rose of Texas" and thought how that sunny flower symbolizes friendship. In a sense, it embodies the selflessness and deep concern we all have for each other. With this in mind, all page photos will include yellow flowers in honor of everyone affected by these disasters.
We shall keep you in our hearts and prayers as you continue to rebuild your lives in Texas, Louisiana, and Florida.
